Learning to read

We are learning site words at school which is helping me to learn to read.  This morning I read a book with pictures of my classmates in it to daddy (he is on vacation).

Trick our Treat on the Street

Today our town had a Halloween parade with all of us kids dressed up for the town to see, then we were able trick or treat at the businesses on our main street.  This year I am dressing as a Southern Belle going to a Masquerade.  Everyone loved my costume and many commented on it.  Momma even put make up on my eyes and let me where sparkly lipstick!  I had a great time and got tons of candy!

Leaves!  Glorious leaves!  Today we raked up the leaves and I had a great time jumping into the pile and being buried.  Weee!

Cosmic bowling worth my peeps!

Tonight we got to go cosmic bowling with my whole preschool!  I was so exited to see my shirt glow in the black lights!  It was awesome!

Scarlett makes her breakfast!

Today I wanted to make my own breakfast.  Green eggs and ham.  So momma let me use a real knife to cut my own ham (my first time using a real knife by myself), and I cracked the eggs, poured the milk, mixed it up and even cooked them on the stove.  Unfortunately I also burned myself for the first time too.  I bumped the edge of the pan with my hand.  I was so shocked, I couldn't even scream!  Don't worry it wasn't bad.  I barely bothered with it.  But my eggs were the best ever, clearly because I made them by myself!  Mind you, I did this all while dressed like a Southern Belle.  Because I am THAT awesome!

Go Lions!

Today is sports day at school.  We get to wear sport clothes.  Momma found me this dumb boy football uniform, and I don't want to wear it at all!  I think I look like a boy and no one will know I'm a girl!  But, if I'm a good sport and come to school participating in the special day I get to pick from the prize box.  Momma sure thinks I look cute. At least I get to wear my special girl hat that matches daddy's.

And why should they change?  From infancy the Muffin has fallen asleep in her daddy's arms, listening to some sporting event or another.  Tonight it was baseball, and daddy joined her in the land of nod.
