What's in a name?

The muffin has started saying her own name this past week! It's the cutest thing to hear! Yesterday she also said down when I was taking her out of her chair.

So curious!

Muffin found this little blue bag stuffed full of things momma brought in from the car. She was so quiet and intent on discovering what each little item was. Her brows were furrowed with intense concentration. This kept her busy for sometime.

Muffin also has a near that sings and talks to her. This morning the near say bye bye, and muffin said bye bye right back. That's only the second time I've heard her say that. The last time was before she turned one. She also keeps walking to the door and hollering at the dog when Kaida whines. That cracks me up!

Man! I love this photo. The muffin loves her daddy so much! They're very close and cuddly. Who can't help but think they're both so cute!? We spent most of the day shopping and eating out. Daddy took a half day to be home with with us today.

Doc appointment!

Today is muffins 15 month well baby visit! She weighs 23lbs and is 30 1/2 in long! She also has a cold. We'll blame daddy for that! She is in the 50% for height and weight, and 75% for her melon! We'll blame daddy for that too! The pedi seems to think her speech is advanced and that she is doing really good in all of the other areas too. Muffin got 2 shots today. Hib and Tetanus. This evening she had trouble going down for the night, and she seemed to be limping. We gave her a bath to see if that would help. It certainly didn't help her to go to sleep. She went down an hour and a half late, after a 45 minute crying jag. But, no fever and she seems to be ok.
