Social Butterfly

What's this? The Muffin, being social? GASP! But it is true. We came out to an indoor play yard and we worked on introducing ourselves and learning how to make friends. Muffin did such a good job saying hello and introducing herself and asking the names of several little girls. I was so proud. The dark haired girl was very shy and her and the muffin walked around and played for a long time. The Muffin and her walked everywher holding hands. It was so cute!

Pretty little dress

We all went to the mall today so that I could look at pretty dresses, I like to do that sort of thing. I was such a good girl so daddy bought me this pretty dress. I picked it out all by myself! Momma showed me how to find my size and then I turned into a little monster, pulling down several dresses that I wanted. In the end, this dress was the one I really wanted. And since I was such a good girl at dinner, daddy let me wear my dress tonight for a little while. I spun in circles, I stood on my stool and sang. I was a princess.

First Coney!

I got to try my very first Coney Dog today! Momma bought me some yummy Nitrate Free hotdogs, and we went to town for dinner. Daddy was so happy to show me how to eat it the right way! I really liked having a coney!

Monopoly

The muffin is playing Monopoly for the first time. This is daddy's favorite game. She did real well, deciding where to build, passing out her rent money, rolling the die. She seemed to enjoy it.

Make Believe

The muffin is so good at make believe! I love watching her play by herself. Her she is playing picnic with Darla and Daisy, her babies. She calls out to me "Excuse me ma'am, I need more milk.". She puts Darla's arm around Daisy and tells them "don't fight guys!". She prepares their plates so nicely and proper and upon finishing asks them if they are done and clears the dishes. She sings lovely songs to them and tells them stories of their friends. She dances and shares her toys with them...if only she could do that with her REAL friends. LOL!

Daddy went to New Orleans for a few days and brought me back some wonderful treats like "Man catchin' Beingnets!" (from The Princess and the Frog fame) and these wonderful items; a blue feather boa and an awesome butterfly Mardi Gras mask.

Movie Buff!

The muffin is watching Cinderella for the first time. She is enthralled, obviously. Sitting so sweet and quiet with Darla at her side. She's quite the movie buff these days.

She's enjoying herself!

What?! She's having fun and enjoying herself, which means she's being sweet and happy. I'm okay with tackling THAT mess later! Even if it takes me all night! Poor kid has cabin fever so bad, if tearing up her bedroom helps to alleviate it, so be it! :). Besides, look at her little face (right hand side, by the blue thing) she seems so pleased with herself!

Daddy was given some free tickets to take the Muffin to go see Toy Story 3 On Ice tonight. Mickey and Minnie came out onto the ice first, much to her delight! As you can see, she was mesmerized!

The Muffin Chef
