Desperate for something to do!

I took the muffin to McDonald's for lunch today to play in the tubes. What an experience that was. Aside from the insane chaos and the fear of her catching MRSA or some other horrible nastiness, the muffin is shy and it takes a while for her to build her confidence up to join in on the chaos. Eventually she got stuck at the top of the tubes. Which I had to go rescue her from. Fun stuff. She warmed up, made a new friend and ended up having a fun time! And then her friend puked. Sigh.

Beating cabin fever

We're all sick around here, so its a little hard to get out and do things. We're trying to find ways to beat cabin fever, so we tried our hands at domino building tonight.

One last sledding hurrah!

Now that spring is quickly approaching, and our blizzard snow is melting away, the muffin and I descended upon our friends and their sledding hill this past Tuesday for an afternoon of sledding fun! The muffin loves sledding and has even got brave enough to go down the hill by herself! But mostly she just loves being with her friends and climbing the snow piles and playing together.

I swear there is nothing the Muffin enjoys more than playing in the water! Guess we're going to have to keep our eyes open this summer to get her one of those water/sand play tables! Btw, she didn't ask if she could play in the water this morning, she just decided she wanted to and then did!

The muffin coloring like a little perfectionist, staying in the lines. I don't know what's normal for a barely 3 year old, and maybe I'm a tad biased being her Momma...but this seems pretty great to me!
