Momma's side of the family hosts a massive egg hunt every year. This was my first year hunting eggs there and I had great fun. I even helped to hide a few. Momma broke down and let me have some candy Judy this once, since it was Easter and all. I ate a tiny box of Nerds, and loved it!!

At the Community Easter Egg Hunt

This morning we took the muffin to the community sponsored Easter Egg Hunt at the activity center near our home. Its about 2 blocks away, so we walked up there this morning. The muffin had a better grasp this year of what she was supposed to do (see egg, pick it up, put it in the basket) than she did last year. Plus, we've been practicing a little. The egg hunt is more of an egg drop where volunteers dump out boxes of empty eggs onto the grass and the kids run and pick them up. Then you turn the eggs in for a goody bag.

The muffin got quite a few.

She wanted Daddy to help pick up the eggs too!

The Easter Bunny was also present, but she's about as fond of him as she is of Santa Clause. So, though we asked her if she wanted to sit by the Easter Bunny, and she said that she did, the moment Daddy stepped back she started to panic. Luckily Momma was able to snap a preliminary picture.

She didn't mind standing next to this Easter Bunny though...since it didn't move and all! :)

Park Fun

Decorating Easter Eggs

We tried to make Good Friday a nice day since daddy had the day off today. We started the day off almost making it in time to participate in the annual Marshmallow Drop. We didn't quite make it, but we got to enjoy watching the marshmallows drop from the helicopter, which was so cool! Then we spent some time playing outside. This picture is of the muffin enjoying her hand at decorating Easter Eggs today. She colored on them with markers and put stickers on them. We also did a few Easter Egg hunts Which she had a lot of fun with! You know, we had to practice for Sunday. ;)

Pruning

W were outside this morning doing some yard clean up. I taught the muffin how to use a very dull pair of pruning sheers.. She really enjoyed it, and did a great job. She even got to trim some actual plants, and the proceeded to teach her doll Daisy how. Going so far as to hold her hand on the plant while she cut.
