Dr. Muffin

Dr. Muffin is on call for Daddy, making sure he is convalescing from his surgery as he should be.  She even checked his  reflexes with her "knee pumper".

Making Valentines

Momma and I made my Valentines for school today.  They are little Koosh balls with a tag that says "Have a BALL, Valentine" and then has my picture on it so that my friends will know its from me...since we can't read yet. ;)

Painting with grandma

I had a great time painting my frog bank with my grandma this evening.  I love to do crafts, especially anything I can paint.

The kiss heard round the world!

Cubbies and spider plants

This evening, at Cubbies, the kids learned about how God makes things grow.  As their activity they planted spider plants.  The muffin is very excited to have her very own plant to care for.  We put it in this nifty little homemade terrarium in hopes of it getting a good root set.  She has named her plant Budger.

Celebrating my 4th birthday at school

My preschool celebrated my 4th birthday by singing to me, lighting a candle and letting me blow it out.

Baking with Great Grandma

The muffin made some cookies in her Easy-Bake Oven this morning with the help of her Great Grandma.

Week 1 of Fun Friday's

To help pass the winter bye the Muffin and I have instituted "Fun Fridays"...this week we decided to go to the movies to see Beauty and the Beast...a movie momma saw in the theater when she was 15...sigh.

Cubbies

The muffin started Cubbies for the first time tonight.  She he'd such a good time!

Take the muffin bowling!

We went bowling with my school!  I was pretty good!  I carried my ball, and threw it all by myself!

Easy-Bake

The Muffin received an Easy-Bake Oven for Christmas, and after much waiting we were finally able to make he first item, a yellow cake with chocolate frosting that she added sprinkles to.  She got a kick out of it, though the waiting about made her brain start smoking.  We then tried a real cookie, which actually turned out great, much to my superpose.  She had a lit of fun...notice her apron...what a fun kid.

Happy 2012!!

We had a small gathering with some friends for NYE this year.  We ate tons of food, and played and had a grand time.  Then we played with glow-in-dark bracelets and the Muffin got to try out Sparklers for the very first time! 

At first she was a bit apprehensive, but she quickly caught on to the fun and I think really enjoyed playing with them, and even lighting them in the big candle.

The Muffin had a great time ringing in the New Year with her pal, but at this point the two of them were about as blinded by a thousand camera flashes (trying to find them in the view finder since it was so dark!) as could be!

And then of course Momma and Daddy had to get in on the action and take their yearly photo together!

Christmas with the Muffin

The Christmas season around here is pretty chaotic.  So here is a slide show of Christmas highlights for the Muffin.  The newborn in the photos is the Muffin's newest cousin.  The photo's span from decorating the tree, to making (and then eating) Gingerbread Houses at our friends house, to the Lights Before Christmas at the Zoo, to Christmas Eve with Momma's family to Christmas day with Daddy's family to Christmas evening here at our home.  This has been a very busy few weeks!  Enjoy the slide show.

This video is of the Muffin on Christmas morning.  Daddy and I decided we had to wake her up (Hey, it was gonna be a full day!) so we thought it would be fun to video tape her reaction to the news that Santa visited our house last night while she was asleep.

The Muffin also got a fishing pole for Christmas, so Daddy took her outside to learn how to cast.  She is a natural!

She seemed so excited opening this present (a ballerina doll named Tess) that I thought I would share it.  The funny part was that she didn't really react to the doll, much to our surprise and dismay...but she sure had fun opening the gift!

The Muffins Christmas Play - Our little star!!

The Muffin's preschool class put on a small Christmas Play for the parents on their last day of school.  The Muffin had the honor of playing the Star of Bethlehem (although begrudgingly because she wanted to sit down, lol).
