A rare share!

The muffin is really working on sharing her toys when her friends come over. This morning she did so well sharing her coloring book and crayons with her friend M. Here M is telling her that her page is really neat because she has a big mountain to color and lots of little people. Later the Muffin could be heard singing while they colored.

2 is better than 1

The Muffin and I went to the beach today to play in the sand (since she has developed a sudden fear of the lake) and one last hurrah before the end of summer. While there we met another little girl with the same name. The muffin was so happy to have a little friend to play with. They happily dug in the sand for quite some time. The muffin even put her feet in the (oh so warm) lake for a few short minutes.

Going for a pony ride!

It took all summer but we finally got to go see the ponies and go for a little ride through the woods this evening. We were all getting eaten alive by the skeetres, which momma didn't like so much. I also got to pet a duck and two goats before daddy took us down for some ice cream. I was so happy and did my best to convince them that I needed to ride the other pony too, but they were hip to my schemes.
